FS - Mickey Mantle signed (faded) Kellogg Foundation Ball

Up for sale is an autographed Mickey Mantle baseball from the the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. The signature is in black ballpoint pen on the sweet spot and has faded. The ball is a Wilson A1010 Premium Leather Official Approved Major League Performance Specification Symmetrically Wound ball made in Haiti. Ball has a couple very tiny spots but otherwise is very clean. It will ship in a UV-protected ball cube. It DOES NOT come with a COA but please read below....

PROVENANCE: This ball was given to me from my mentor/employer of over 10 years as a gift. James "Jim" Powell (R.I.P) was a photographer in Kalamazoo, MI for over 40 years and he and his wife were active physically and financially with the W.K. Kellogg foundation (based out of Michigan). Jim acquired this ball from a Kellogg Foundation dinner/fundraiser with Mickey Mantle and he had it in his office until he gave it to me. I traveled the world with Jim as his photographer's assistant/shooter and have been a friend of his family for close to 20 years now. "Well, why are you selling then if he was so important to you?" Well I have years and years of memories not to mention hundreds of photographs of our time together. Lack of work and medical bills from a perforated appendix last month are forcing me to sell off most of sports memorabilia collection. Jim's 1st Place in Photography award that he won in high school from 1964 that sits in my office that he gave me the last time I saw him before he passed away is worth way more to me anyways.
