Front Row Show in Las Vegas

Anybody setting up or attending the Vegas Front Row show this coming weekend? Looks like a decent size with 500 tables..

If you are there come by theVCP booth M16 and say hello..

San Diego

Not Vegas but will be at the one in SD over Memorial Day Weekend....if anyone is selling drop a note...SD is notoriously and historically awful for vintage unfortunately ....so hopeful we get some new blood setting up

Front Row

Front Row always draws a good crowd. Vegas may be tough because of a huge music festival on the same day. At times there is a lack of vintage vendors, but overall a well run show.

Not Vegas but will be at the 2 day Pasadena, CA event in June.

Here at the show now and line was a mile long to get in...
anyone in Vegas coming there is a really good seller in Row M across from us selling some nice CJ, Goudey, T206 etc...really clean broken sets 55-65 really nice. Collection that was in a safe for 40 years in Florida

So if you get a chance worth checking out

Bobby, if you get a chance try to get some of the vintage dealers to sign-up for the West Coast Card Show in August at the Anaheim Convention Center. I was at the Regional Show today and they had a table signing dealers up, so I know tables are still available.

Vendor name?

BobbyVCP 05-19-2025 09:37 AM

I did not get his name he just wore a Minnesota Gopher hat so guessing that should tell someone who he is and now the show is over so cant ask

Overall a good show twice as big as Pasadena but think not as many people overall showed up. There is I am guessing about 40 sellers here with some sort of vintage

Compared to most San Diego shows...which have ramped up greatly in the last few years...that is about 39 more than usual!

San Diego

Went today...early entry...was in line at 9:30 (for 10 open) and probably 300 people in front of me....500++++ behind me at least. Left around 1:30 as I was just beat from heading out at 6:30 for another sale. I saw at least 3 tables with 1-2 showcases full of pre-war....I think I saw a 4th.....and as I was leaving... the dealer I was finalizing a transaction with bought a fat stack of Aarons, Mays and other mega stars from the 50's...including a Banks RC.

There was a decent amount of vintage...maybe 25%?...40% sports cards...the remaining 35% Pokemon and whatnot. I will head out toorrow as well.

Can't commment on pre war prices...but saw some early 50s RCs swapping...and the 54s and 57s I was hunting for (graded) were all slightly to grossly above recent comps..basically asking a grade above pricing...some wiggle but some not worth even asking.

Glad there is some vintage there, the last Front Row show I attended (Pasadena) was at least 80% Pokémon and virtually no pre-war vintage.

Big Front Row show (in Pasadena again) next month, we’ll see…

I'm heading to their show in Phoenix next month...reading here I am more hopeful that I might see some vintage there.

I will be with my son, so he'll be excited with all the Pokemon, at least. ;)

A show in SD? Any links to show info?

Edited to add: Found the website with show info. I wonder how much vintage will be there. I bet the oldest cards they have are 50's for the most part. Well, piqued my curiosity at least.

That was the exact case for their show in Tacoma.... 4 vintage tables out of about 100, and the rest was Pokemon and Ultra-modern. Those tables that had vintage consisted of 1950s - 70s (I don't consider 80s as vintage, but they had quite a bit of that too).

Hope SD is better!

Come out to the San Diego show this weekend! I went to the last one a few months back. Probably a solid 20 tables with pre-war and even more with 50's-70's stuff. Some nice dealers from all over the west. Yes, Pokemon and ultra modern were not hard to find but more vintage than I expected at least. Well, that was last time. Hopefully at least as good this time. I'm planning on being there this weekend as well so say hi if you see me. I'll be wearing an A's hat.

I was a bit surprised at the San Diego show. Most of it is new and shiny and Pokemon. HOWEVER -

There were a few dealers with some nice vintage material. One dealer probably had close to a hundred slabbed T206s and a handful of OJs.

There were a few dealers with T205 or T206 Cobbs and other HOFers.

Yes, I was a bit surprised to see it. Obviously, not even close to a National, but for SD it was surprising.

Not sure if this is spam or not...but I went to both shows in San Diego...and will probably pass on the January return. One table with mainly pre-war and a dozen more with vintage. One guy there for set builders as compared to three last time. Dan in the front had a couple of 56 topps sets...and a guy in the corner had binders of commons.

Agree with Fred's take. And again...slab prices were at a full blown grade higher in comps. Did see some cool 1/1 Ohtani's including a signed RC w/Trout...that guy's table was LOADED
