PSA SMR for T206 -
Does PSA even care what they publish anymore -
Latest version of PSA SMR for T206 is totally unrealistic and I would be overjoyed to purchase T206s at the pricing they say they are worth. Case in point - Hughie Jennings 1 hand in air (HOF) SMR shows a grade 2 to be worth $70 I know the 2 that I have - I spent $260 on it Likewise on these BST Boards - it appears that a grade 1.5 will probably end up getting sold for $200 SOOOOOOOO - If SMR is now a complete joke - where do you guys go to see what actual comps are selling for (besides ePay) |
VCP - great tool.

VCP or eBay. PSA has been detached from the market for basically forever and is completely useless.

The President of PSA once admitted to me in an email that they are behind in their T206 & Vintage pricing. They know & don't care.
VCP is the go to place for recent comps. |

Perhaps those are the prices they use when making a payout on their guarantee when something goes awry.

Psa smr
The sad thing is that I recently sent a 1914 CJ Branch Rickey for grade. It graded a PSA 2.5. According to SMR a PSA 2 was $800 and a PSA 3 was $1200 but they upcharged me for a value of $5500. My grade cost was $600.
So they don't even use SMR for their own valuation when determining an upcharge. When I contacted PSA they say they use actual auction data to determine value. I don't know why they dont just get rid of SMR all together. |

They would probably have to pay Market Movers or VCP for data feed. Who knows. Geoff Bedine Premier Card Collectors Since 1977 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

What a load of Bull Schite that is - FFS! There is no doubt in my mind that PSA continues to lose market share on probably a daily basis and their resolution to this problem is to continue to gouge their existing customer base to make up for the shortfalls......... Not playin any more.............. |
