EARLE COMBS-JACOB RUPPERT-ED BARROW AUTOGRAPHED PAYROLL CHECK
October 3rd 1925 New York Yankee payroll check made out to long time Yankee Hall of Fame center fielder then only 26 years old in his FIRST full major league season (He played only 24 games in 1924) . Earle Coombs spent his entire 12-year career with the Yankees retiring in 1935 with a .325 lifetime batting average. Check is endorsed on the back in vintage 8-9/10 blue ink. Both Yankee owner Jacob Ruppert (Hall of Fame Died-1933) and Secretary Ed Barrow (Hall of Fame Died-1953) have signed the front in 9-10/10 looking vintage black ink. Check itself in outstanding condition. Unique piece of Yankees history signed by THREE Hall of Famers $650.00
