I.D. Help - 1950s Brooklyn Dodgers Photos
A lot of 1950s Brooklyn Dodgers photos just closed on ebay. Most of them are Jays Publishing. But three of them aren't. They have the players' signatures, a salutation, and no printed name at the bottom. The three mystery photos are Snider, Hodges, and someone (probably a coach) who was named Happy Shelton if I'm reading his handwriting correctly.
Have any of you run across any pictures from this set before? Here's the link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/205445154067. I was the underbidder. |
Unfortunately cant help on this one Paul, but I love the Gil batting! Cool pieces.

Actually might've spoke too soon.
They could be related to happy feltons knot hole gang. Maybe fan club premiums? https://www.dodgersblueheaven.com/20...-gang.html?m=1 |
Thanks Lucas. That Happy Felton photo in your link is identical to the one in the ebay lot, so it looks like you're on to something.

Those are gorgeous Cliff. Do you have any more information about their origin?

I found them on WorthPoint, I think they are very closely related to the Hodges and Snider photos but I don't think they were released at the same time. I found three different listings on WorthPoint, one of them had Hodges, Snider, and Felton, the other two listings each had Amoros, Campanella, Reese, and Felton.
