1919 Eddie Cicotte Photo from 2009 Lelands
 

Does anyone have the photo or an auction catalog that might have more info on this photo? The online past auction has almost no info or a scan of the back. It was in the Nov 2009 Leland's Auction

Im curious if this is from the 1919 World Series and if so if it is Chicago or Cincinnati

found it sold at RMY as well and has a scan of the back...just says 1919

RMY sold a photo that appears to be taken at the same time and place and it shows Cicotte and other player (Grover Lowdermilk) are in a home uniform. It is stamped Sept 20, 1919 which must be the date it was published not taken as the Sox were in Boston and that is for sure not Boston or their road uniforms which were solid gray.

Mystery solve...it is in Chicago in 1919 during the reg season.
