Gabrinus card collection for sale on eBay

Due to the sad passing of my good friend Jerry Tate recently, I’m helping the family sell the remainder of his vintage cards on eBay. His Net54 ID was Gabrinus and I believe it was his eBay user name also.
Jerry had sold off a lot of his rarer stuff the past few years but I was amazed he had so many pre war cards left. I started putting his stuff for sale on eBay yesterday so you can find them on my tbob eBay page.
All winning bids go 100% to Jerry’s mom so you might take a look. The near set of Brunners D304 cards, especially HOFers, is my favorite of his sale cards.

Thanks,
Bob M. (Tbob)

Let me know your pref since much of what happens on N54 stays on N54. If you like I’m very happy to do an article for Collectibles on SI. They can be hit or miss with reach, but I’ve definitely seen some of my articles impact eBay sales.

What is Collectibles on SI?

It’s the Collectibles arm of the Sports Illustrated network. Daily news and features related to the Hobby.

Bob, can you post a link to one of the eBay items. This way, tech morons like me can click on the link and search sellers other items, rather than searching for a seller which i dont know how to do

Total tech moron here, and I shouldn't be, as I sold tech for over 20 yrs!

Tbob can say which were Jerry's, if not all of them.

Thanks for posting the links!

Thanks guys. 85 prewar cards posted on eBay, the remaining 262 cards consigned to Sterling Auctions. Lee B. said he’ll try to get them all included in his next auction. Graded Texas Tommy Connie Mack is the best of the lot but there are tons of cards from T205 to E cards etc.
Since so many collectors here liked Jerry, hopefully you can help his family on these cards. His mother is getting 100% of the proceeds. It’s the least I could do for my buddy, such a great guy.
PS my iPhone camera that used to take great scans is not so great now so you’ll be happy when the cards look better than the scans.

Thanks for sharing the info Bob.

Jerry had an incredible collection and was great to deal with and just talk to. Still can't believe he's no longer with us.

They are listed on eBay on my tbob page. All of them are Jerry’s card except the T207 Scott.

Jerry was a great guy and had some very nice cards. I was watching the Weber Lajoie that just ended and thought it would go higher. Praying for comfort for his mom.

Same. eBay app went wacky on me in the last 5 seconds. Going to be thinking about this one for a while.
