So many Cicotte autographs come from the 1950s or later. And they all look remarkably similar to each other, and not really like yours. There are aspects of yours that I think strongly suggest authenticity, but because it doesn’t look like the vast majority of his autographs I think it is a problematic example for sure. I don’t have anything different in my T206 player exemplars to suggest a reasonable match. You may have an early life/career sig there, so I understand why you’re looking for a few opinions. But I would not authenticate it without a verifiable example that looks more like it.

I dont think it is genuine. It is really small and letters really uniform and tight, looks printed to me and not a signature...

T206 points out he signed a lot later in his life, the easiest Black Sox signature to find, so here is an early example of his from 1917 for you to compare too.

It looks very suspect to me, priced lower than what his signature usually sell for ($300-350) so priced to move. I'd pass on it.

-note the "E", the "C", and the "e" on all these posted match pretty close, but do not match the suspected example of the OP

Thanks guys! Im leaning towards authentic myself but due to the variations and size I dont think a TPA will ok it. Appreciate the feedback!

none of his signatures have a cursive little "e" at the end of either first or last name, one example T206 posted is a bleeding on the ink makes it look different but reality is they all look like a smaller bigger E...plus like I pointed out the capital letters dont match either and those were pretty consistent from 1910s-till death. Pretty obvious to me it is not genuine. What suggests it is genuine?

I think the give away is that your example is spelled “Cicatte”
