June pickup
Bought this multi-autographed card from Mr. Jim Stinson, made a display sheet for my album.
Another nice item for my collection of MLB Managers autographs. |

Thank you, Scott.
I'm a display kind of guy; I once owned a small wholesale jewelry company and found attractive displaying to be important. I have approx. 550 MLB managers autographs, all on flat items. A large number are in protective pages in 3-ring binder books, but I have a lot more that I haven't gotten to put into the books yet. Most of the autographs are on baseball cards or pictures. But the ones I have on index cards, cancelled checks, cuts, or documents I have enhanced with a picture or baseball card of the guy. There are several pieces like the one I just bought from Jim Stinson that have multiple signatures and I create a display page with the pictures of the guys who signed to dress up the item. My collection is for my pleasure; I'm 73 and have collected for around 60 years. LOL...my wife always asks that, at my age, what I'm planning to do with the collection and my other autographs and memorabilia. But I keep buying and acquiring. |
Great piece, glad you got it

Picked up the autograph I've wanted since I first saw Brian's Song in 1971...and it's a beauty! Signed on Oct 13th 1968, I also received the Gale Sayers signed on the same day (couldn't upload the photo for some reason). They will both be in my collection till the day they bury me with them. LOL
I'm so thankful to DougG423 for making these available. He's a real good guy. |
Brian’s Song
It might be cool if you put together a display with the autographs of James Caan and Billy Dee Williams next to Piccolo and Sayers.

Great suggestion.
