Mr Walker is the father of Harry "The Hat" Walker who played and managed in the big leagues for 32 years, also Dixie Walker who had an 18 year big league career although his accomplishments as a player were overshadowed by his attempt to keep Jackie Robinson from joining the Dodgers in 1947.
