Events on Wednesday Night at the National?
 

Hi I'm going to the national this year, I'll be getting in early Wednesday and leaving late on Thursday. Thus I'm only in town on Wednesday. I know there are trade nights throughout the week but I wanted to see if anyone knew of any other get togethers or events on Wednesday night. Thanks!

The only Wednesday event I remember from the last couple Chicago Nationals is a really busy informal 'trade night' at the Loews Hotel just south of the convention center. It went strong into the night the last couple years that I stopped by. It was in the lobby, down a hallway and into a larger back room.....lots of modern, but a fair amount of vintage as well. Hope that helps.

I use to organize a meetup on the Wednesday nights for a few of the Nationals back around 15 or so years ago. I recall we had a nice turnout (~10) of Net54 members at the restaurant/bar close to the convention center for both of the Baltimore shows (2010 & 2012).

Show is open late Wednesday so its normally just a rush to get food/drinks at 8pm when it shuts down.
