Got a reminder from my computer today about a photo from twenty years ago. Ah, now where is it?

Sounds like it’s time for a deep dive to dig up everything in your collection and walk through it. My experience is that you’ll find more than a few pieces that you forgot you had!

Completely agree. I have more than 1 hobby. All concentrated in my man cave master bedroom, a large Mosler safe in in one of the walk in closets, and a slightly larger than usual safe deposit box at the bank. The antique radios are easy to keep track of. But with my limited, easily distracted, attention span, I regularly forget where I put the smaller stuff!

Where did I...

I feel the collective pain:) Last year I took a slabbed mid 1950s Parkie Gordie
Howe to a show. After the show I didn't account for the card. Weeks later,
when I realized it was missing, I couldn't find it. Even convinced myself I
traded it at the show. After at least 2 more months, I had given up and was
in my car, looking for something in the glove box. Under several documents
was the card! No idea why I put it there, no memory- glad it's back though.

There is no greater terror known to realize one of your valuable and beloved cards AOL. I still weep when I recall the beautiful E90-1 Speaker that somehow took a walk. I almost destroyed the house looking for it. Still smarts, and that was 30 years ago.

hahahahah,

Continuously..... It is a common phrase over here. I do eventually find it, but damn CRS is a deadly thing sometimes.

Have you checked on the leather upholstered chair in your living room??

Lost

I can sympathize. I misplaced a sharp T206 Waddell Portrait twenty years ago. I know that it is here somewhere, I just cannot find it. Very frustrating.

Is there a way we can blame the post office after the countless cards they have lost us over the years??? lol

Yikes! I lost a '67 Topps Venezuelan Di Maggio. Drives me nuts, thinking I may have somehow managed to throw it away.

Now some people may look at a framed Harpers woodcut and think it's too big to misplaced. They are wrong..Amazing how easy it is to slide a frame in a small space because " I just need it out of the way for a minute".
I purchased a small but very powerful flashlight to help me light up the spaces in my house that seldom see light. Because spaces that seldom see light are perfect for storing things like this.
I will say the joy you will have finding Your Athletics woodcut will be proportional to the time and effort it took you to uncover it. ..enjoy the hunt.
