WTB - Glasscock - N28, N172, N173
Looking to add a Glasscock to our Indianapolis collection, willing to consider any condition, looking for an N28 Allen & Ginter or N172/N173 Old Judge cards.
Thanks in advance! Darren |
Great player and buried off exit 5 outside of Wheeling in the same graveyard as my grandfather and a famous musician, Chu Berry, who played with Cab Calloway. Calloway led the funeral procession for Berry in 1940. Since then, the graves of both Glasscock and Berry were dug up and relocated to the exit 5 cemetery because of surrounding construction to the Wheeling cemetery in the latter 1960s. Also, buried at the cemetery is an actor from "Patton" whose parents were quite wealthy.

Thanks Brian! I drove through Wheeling often as I grew up outside of Indianapolis and went to college in Pittsburgh. I also have family in Morgantown, I’ll have to plan for an extra stop next time and find Captain Jack’s grave.

Hey Darren, last time I was in Indy, the guy at Indy Vintage Sports had an SGC 1 N172 that you could probably get at a good price. 317-910-7650.
