PSA Unfolded My Check
The infamous check has returned. I feel like I owed you all an update and I recieved the check back today. For those of you who are familiar with the original post you can see that PSA unfolded the check and put it in a more appropriately sized holder. Why it was not put in that holder to begin with we will never know.
I was compensated $100 for the damage and was able to have this be expressed through the process by PSA, additionally they covered shipping on both ends. Feel free to share your thoughts. https://i.imgur.com/E5PWPJw.png |
That’s great

Max looks 1000% better

Congrats...it looks like a check now. I know I would be willing to deposit it to my bank account.

Looks great! Thanks for sharing the story and glad it had a happy ending.

Looks very good. The fact there are other folds in the check make the damage they did far less noticeable.

I was just wondering about this the other day. Thanks for posting the update, and I'm glad they got this taken care of. It's a neat item.

Well done, Max! Now we can enjoy that gorgeous fountain pen playing career signature without the distraction of stupidity!
|
That looks much better!

Great!

Pretty good result, all things considered.

Nice! Glad that worked out for you.

How a company addresses an issue when one seeks redress makes a big difference moving forward for you. Congrats.

Wait… I thought they didn’t have a slab that it would fit in, which is why they folded it. If they had this one all along, why was this even an issue? I’m so confused.
|
Check looks good now. They can't make the crease go away but they did the best they could to make it presentable.

Thanks for the update. Here's my thought. The check was already creased but that's no reason for PSA to fold it again and put it in the slab that way. Total knucklehead move on their part. It was good to see they did compensate you and paid for shipping both ways with express service.
At least they took ownership of the issue. There's not much else they could have done except encapsulated it correctly to begin with. I'm not a PSA fan but it seems like they did the right thing here. Max, do you feel good about this now? |

How this is the predominant grading company is beyond me. It's akin to going out for a burger and choosing McDonalds over In & Out. Unfortunately the lowest common denominator has spoken. |
So much better.
Before if you showed it to somebody their first reaction would have been “why is it folded ?” |
