I don’t see any infielders either during that sequence. Might have been some kind of exhibition.

That guy didn't have a mean bone in his body, loved children and I bet when he finally hit that homer off of Walter Johnson in the exhibition for war relief that might have been one of the happiest moments of his life because that's what the crowd came to see.
I bet he was a hoot to hang out with after his wife Claire slowed him down. Larger than life really can't begin to describe him.
