Johns "through the mail" collection
 

I purchased these at the National. During the 1960s, John would make these baseballs out of paper, add career highlights, then send them off to the player. John would make two of these, and offer the second one for the player to keep. I picked up all 49 of these, some ID the player on the reverse. All priced at $3 each except Debs Garms $5 and HOFer Waite Hoyt $10
