For 1/75th of the price, I would be willing to take a Chance on this semi-card.

To be Frank, that price is hilarious. Not a Chance!

Imagine what the bottom half is worth.

chalupacollects 08-17-2025 03:51 PM

Should be a half off sale…

At least they put "reprint" in the item specifics.

philliesfan 08-17-2025 06:15 PM

Frankly, there is a half of a Chance that it is not a reprint.......or is a reprint.

This description is very misleading, saying it is from the original Cracker Jack set, while stating it's a reprint in the section at the top.

cubman1941 08-18-2025 07:06 AM

It was pulled because of an "error in the listing" I wonder what the "error" was - "reprint" or "original" and if it is going to be re-listed after the "error" is fixed??

philliesfan 08-18-2025 10:13 AM

It is listed again at $250.00 and as an original. It does not say Licensed reprint. (Unless I missed it)
He also has Cracker Jack cards of Victor Saier, Edward Sweeny, and Callahan all cut in half.

As a Cub guy I probably would have bid on it except the "C" written on the front destroys the value. I also note the person had "0" feedback. However, in their favor, there is an "Authenticity Guarantee" on the listings.

Maybe they found the bottom halves

My best purchase on eBay by far, over the last 26+ yrs, was with a guy that had a -1 (yes, a negative 1) rating.

No, my guy's legitimate name was Bob Smith.....what are the odds?

And it looks like no one took a chance on the Chance....
