Henry Chadwick Opinion
 

Need your guys help/opinion on Chadwick. It is supposedly on earlier version with great provenance. However, I spoke with a major TPA and stated too atypical (which I understand) to pass. It's really close in my opinion.

I remember seeing a variation like this a couple of times 20 or so years ago . One I remember was on a music sheet and another on a book page .
I never bought them because I wasn’t comfortable with the deviations from his more typical “ accepted “ signature. The ones I have are his typical version .
If you trust the provenance it would be your call but it would have to be ironclad for me back to his lifetime because TPAs rule now as you know and if you ever sell it then it could be a problem IMO. There are things I like about the signature but there are more I don’t like IMO . Just curious how’s the PSA database on this ?

What's the whole item?
With the address I'm thinking it may be an envelope.

If it's the address, I'd think it's not likely him, if it's the return address it's more likely

It’s a signed book, there are other books in the collection that are surely signed by him, but first name only.
