REA changing their extended bidding process
 
According to an email I received from REA today, they are changing their extended bidding process starting with their September auction. Extended bidding for the entire auction will now go only until 10:00 PM (instead of midnight) when lot by lot closing will start. Individual lots will close after 20 minutes without bids (instead of 15).

Benefits more than offset by raising buyer premium to 23%. Apparently the obnoxious 2% increase Goldin and Heritage did was not enough for them.
