1940 G. Milkes dual sided Batter Up

Picked up this item in a lot that had three R88-2 Milkes Matchem cards in it and couldn't find anything about it so thought I'd ask here. As far as non-sports goes, Milkes items are on the rarer side so I'm assuming that these can't be plentiful but don't really have much to base that on beyond the comparison to the general rarity of vintage Milkes non-sports. One side of the "card" is the American Leaguer Frank Pytlak. The wheel spins. There are four quadrants to the wheel. Name, position, team then a head shot, and two with stats about the player. The other side of the "card" is the National Leaguer Zeke Bonura. The card is dated 1940 and is very small (sorry I didn't put in a quarter for scale, Leon). I apologize if I screwed up the image size.

Anyone seen these before?

Maybe

Never seen this before. Looks like maybe the bottom of the wheel was initially covered up by additional cardboard which has been torn away. Very cool item!!

That's possible, however the Milkes non-sports issues that have a wheel have exposed wheel sections as well. My feeling is that it's complete as is.

Very cool. Nice and colorful graphics. Never seen one before. And no quarter is ok, we get the approximate size is about 2 1/2 x 3 1/2... :)...Thanks AI

Leon,

It's way smaller. Approx 1" tall by 2" wide. Quite small.
