SOLD!—T218's, 37 Low Grade, starting @ $1 a card--
8 Attachment(s)
Here are 37 cards from the T218 set, a fun and inexpensive set to collect.
These are low-grade, ranging from beaters to Good, and I've broken them into five lots at $1/card. This Auction ends Monday, 10:00 pm [10:00 timestamp good; 10:01 not]. Raised bids must be in whole dollar increments. Add $1 for shipping in a pwe. As per Lucky Larry's policy: If an item is lost in the mail, I'll split the cost with the buyer. Lot 1: 6 Boxers. Bidding starts at $6. Lot 2: 7 Swimmers--Featuring Men's swimsuit fashions c. 1910. Bidding starts at $7. Lot 3: 9 Olympians., with Tom Collins, Johnny Hayes. Bidding starts at $9. Lot 4: 9 more Olympians, with Harold A. Wilson. Bidding starts at $9. Lot 5: Willie Hoppe [Billiards], Mel Heins [Bowling]--beaters both, but more valuable-- + 4. Bidding starts at $6. Note: Surprisingly, the system isn't accepting scans for the two back pages of 9 Olympians. Too much text? Or is it the plastic page? I'll take them out of the pages and see if that works. Stay posted for additional scans. So I'm going to open this thread as it is and then post the rest of the scans in Post 1. Hopefully, that will work. |
No More Scans, a mystery to me--
I took the 9 cards out of their plastic pages and rescanned them.
The system would not accept them [failed to ... whatever]. Too much text? Hard to believe. But I'll break them into smaller lots of six each and see if that works. Later. |

It’s Over!
I meant for this auction to run for a week.
But I neglected to state the date! My bad. So I will run it as a one day auction. Congratulations to the winners, And I’ll be getting in touch. Thanks. Steve, Sorry, but I’ll have to count your bid as too late, past the 10 deadline. My apologies for the mess-up. Doug |
