PSA waiting time on photos?
 

Anyone have a good read on current approximate wait time to get pictures graded by PSA?

They don't give an estimate on photo authentication to my knowledge.

But in the past, I could get them in 30 days or so after they were received.

Not sure of current timetable as I have not submitted lately since Type I photos have increased in value.

The last photo I submitted was shipped to them on Jan 19, 2025 and it was shipped back on April 9, 2025.

I don't know what it is now, but I would bet it hasn't improved. Hope that helps.

Just received a submission back, took exactly 2.5 months.

Maybe PSA used the Marilyn photos to decorate the office walls for the summer.

I recently submitted photos (in person when PSA was at Bleeker) around 10 days ago, and mailed photos that were received around a week ago. Neither have entered the system.

I messaged the person who I worked with in person for the tickets (they weren't accepting photos in person) and he mentioned it can be weeks before everything is unpacked.

Not sure whether that takes longer on the ticket side than on the photo side, and it sounds like others are seeing a 2-3 month timeline from start to finish, so I'm hoping mine (at least the photos) match that.

There's a 5 and 10 day expedite service for photos as well (up to 5 photos per submission), just make sure it's clearly marked that you're expediting on the package.

I usually do the 10 day expedited service and get the results usually within 5 days

Same as others, average about 2 1/2 months.
