That was a lot of fun to watch. That guy is a bad bad man.

As well as he pitched, I'm still shocked they let him throw more than 100 pitches. Practically unheard of in the playoffs and especially for a young pitcher.

I wonder how many kids dream of walking off the mound at Yankee Stadium in to a standing ovation. The guy started the year in Double A. You gotta love the narratives that baseball provides.

I actually saw him pitch in AA last year and this year. I only went to 1 game each year in Somerset, but he was the starter each time.

Figures this would happen on the Bucky Dent anniversary. Credit to the kid for a gem, of course. Not to whine, but what a ridiculous format, all three games in Yankee Stadium.
