https://www.facebook.com/1533961781/...73376120564155 And if you want to see a close up of the alleged thief https://www.facebook.com/groups/930411005819540 I hope the vendor gets his cards back Regards Rich |

What an Asshole. Should be caught plenty of pictures of him.

Face and features are clear enough that I can't see this not being a fairly quick solve.

I'm surprised at how empty the show was when this happened. All the shows I've been to recently have been packed.
	 |

It makes no sense, at the beginning of the clip on the left side you can see someone inside the booth looking right in that direction.

The bright side is that there will be less wealth to show up on the pickups thread, so less people will be upset.

I had recently been kicking around the idea of setting up at a show. Given the frequency with which theft occurs these days, it's just not worth it to me.
	 |

Same here. Would like to set up but dang. I had even thought about photocopying my “high value “ cards and only agreeing to an in person meeting to exchange, but not sure that would be practical.
	 |

 Well...
Just a thought... Before you photocopy your cards you might think about not setting a box full of t205 and t206 cards on your table and then turning around and walking away. Not blaming anybody... Maybe just a little... Doug "did I just victim blame?" Goodman |

If the cases are locked & chained to the table, you should be OK if you left the table for a few minutes during setup. But, don't leave anything on top of the cases.

Wondering if the kid was with him. Seems suspicious… both dressed the same too. Hope not for the kids sake…

I hope the next thread I read is that this jackass is caught.
The only people I really trust with my cards is my family and my buddy Walt. Bob |

Glad to hear the perps were apprehended, and the stolen goods were returned to their owner.
Hopefully there's a stiff penalty for such crimes against cardboard. |

I was hoping to read this!!!!

Note how casual he is...the way he looks, walks, how he is dressed....strolls up so casual to the point where one could think the box belongs to him.
	 |

I think it was Goethe who said, "The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he wasn't a bald and pudgy senior citizen in casual wear."

They should release his name and his mugshot, so that everybody can keep a lookout for him. A thief is not just going to steal once ...

Whatever has happened to the hobby we knew and loved; Nowadays it makes collecting rusty nails seem attractive.
	 |

I bet the kid was in on it. Watch the video closely, it looks suspicious. I hope we get the full story.

The amount of theft going on in the TCG/Pokemon community the past year+ is nation-wide and alarming. A seller is getting hit practically weekly in any random community...from table snatches to storefront breaking/entering smash and grabs... You can do a web search for "Pokemon theft" and get a buffet of news articles all over the nation. |
