December 2025 Pickup thread
I've been to a couple card shows over the past two weekends. I'll leave a few posts with the pickups from those shows.

A pair of graded cards:
A '56 Campanella. This takes me one step closer to completing the set. I'm building from the top down. At this point, Duke Snider and the two checklists are the biggest (monetarily) holes to fill. A '73 Aaron. I keep telling myself I'm not going to build the Topps sets from the early '70s, yet I keep picking up Topps cards from the early '70s. |

A few vintage goodies, especially if (like me) you're a Phillies fan.
A '74 Ryan to help close out my 1968-1994 Topps Nolan Ryan run. More on that later. A '75 Steve Carlton. I had the mini; however, didn't have the normal Topps card. A '65 Tug McGraw rookie. Unbelievably, I never had one before. |

Three more '58 Topps All-Star cards. I'm closing in on completing that subset. At this point, I'm only missing Ted Williams, Frank Robinson, and four commons. :)

My Philly Show pickups. I only got two cards; however, they both had meaning.
'69 Nolan Ryan. With this card, I've completed my run of Ryan base cards. I've now got every Topps Nolan Ryan base card from 1968 through 1994. :) '56 Pee Wee Reese. I've now got 200 of the 342 cards it will take to build the complete (basic) 1956 Topps baseball set. |
