NAME THAT CARD
Posted By: Patrick McMenemy
Thought that some of you might enjoy a new game called "Name that Card."

The game works this way. I have selected one of my cards, and have cropped the image so that the players name, team, and face are not seen. Next, I have posted the cropped image to see if I can stump the expects.

If someone identifies the player, and the card set then they get to post their cropped image, and the game continues. (Since some images may have multiple team designations, the player and card set is all that will be required for positive identification.

Name that card!

NAME THAT CARD
Posted By: Dave
I'm really stuck on this card, but,

Why is this post stuck in the right 2 inches on my screen?

Each post in the thread moves its start spot 1/4 to 1/2 inch further to the right. I downloaded the HTML version of it, Word has the same problem.

Any ideas?

Dave
|
NAME THAT CARD
Posted By: Jeff S
1. I'm pretty sure that's a T201, but I don't know which card.

2. The responses are on the far right of the screen because each response is set a little further to the right, and we've responded to responses to responses to responses, etc. Usually threads to do not go so long and/or people do not respond in such a way to create this kind of alignment hierarchy. Problem is easily solved by starting another thread.

|
NAME THAT CARD
Posted By: Patrick McMenemy
Sorry Ben...Not a T3 Turkey Red...
|
NAME THAT CARD
Posted By: Julie
Well, it's NOT a triple folder--because all the color is in portraits in them. In attention to detail, it looks like a T3 (but we've already been told it's not). I guess everyone has noticed that the catcher's left shoe-tongue climbs halfway up his ankle, while the right one is normal length. I'd guess (and it really is that) that's it's a E-101 or 102 (because of the "hint)."
It can't be 19th century, of course, because the catcher's mit had not yet develped any size or depth yet (I had originally thought S.F. Hess California League, but there's no WAY). The mit perfectly matches those in T3s (as I am only too well aware at the moment!)
