San Francisco Seals in Hana, Hawaii
 

Posted By: <b>Ryan Christoff</b><p>I have a journalist friend of mine who is looking to write a story about the San Francisco Seals and the time they spent during spring training in the 1940's in Hawaii. Specifically, the city of Hana on the island of Maui. <BR><BR>From what I understand, Seals owner Paul Fagan started the Kauiki Inn, which later became the Hotel Hana-Maui. I believe it was 1947 or so that he brought the Seals to Hana for spring training. <BR><BR>If anyone has any information at all about this, please e-mail me at ryan@cubanbaseballcards.com.<BR><BR>I would also be interested in purchasing any photographs relating to the Seals in Hana. <BR><BR>If anyone has Mark Macrae's number I'd be grateful if you could e-mail it to me. I'm sure he'd be one of the best resources for this kind of information.
