Most auctioneers are completely clueless as to vintage baseball items. Posted By: <b>Brock G.</b><p>I wish I were there too. I'm sure the seller turned a nice profit on that one. How cool would it be to find something like that at an estate sale. A few weeks back an 1860s trophy ball popped up on ebay and the seller said it came from an estate in Jacksonville. It gave me a little hope that I may unearth a gem someday at a local sale.
