Questions on N172 and N173
Posted By: <b>DD</b><p>Hi,<br />Just a few questions from a newcomer in terms of appreciating these sets. <br /><br />1) Is there an N173 cabinet card for every N172 Old Judge card? <br />2) Are there any cabinet poses that have not been found on an N172? 3) Lastly, is there a Bid McPhee N173?<br /><br />Thanks for any answers you can provide,<br /><br />David

Overall it's a nice reference document.<br /><br />More N172 poses (and cards) than N173.<br /><br />

Part of the reason is that N173s were only issued in 1888 and 1889 so cards like spotted ties, Brown's Champs, which were 1887 issues, have no corresponding N173. However, there are some N173 poses that are currently unknown on N172s---Kelly in street clothes is one example. There has been no McPhee N173 found to date but that could always change as there is no reason why he did not have one.
