Jack Coombs? Posted By: Lee Behrens
Where are the cards for Jack Coombs, he was the leading pitcher in Wins in 1910 and 11. You would think he would have had many different cards. I know there are other prominent players that were not depicted. Any theories?

I forgot to put specifically T206 in the original post.

Lee |

Jack Coombs? Posted By: ty_cobb
I think most of the T206 subjects were picked on the
basis of performance in 1908 or prior. Jack Coombs
was only 7W-5L in 1908, if you check Baseball Almanac
he is actually listed as a utility outfielder that year!

But I understand what you mean, he should be in T207
for example, but is still not represented. Did they ever
intend to expand T206? The Eddie Collins batting Proof
always makes me wonder... |
