SCD Vintage Grading Service Question

I am thinking of buying a slabbed SCD vintage card from a dealer, and don't know anything about SCD except that they went out of business...<br /><br />Were they reputable, and how comparable are they to PSA and SGC, especially with vintage cards?<br /><br />Does anyone have any experience with them? Posted By: <b>Lee Behrens</b><p>I believe that they no longer exist. I have bought a few T206s graded by SCD and were very happy with the grade applied. Genereally at a lower price than similiar cards graded by SGC, PSA or GAI.<br /><br />Lee

Posted By: <b>davidcycleback</b><p>I have no knowledge of their grading (Poor to Mint), but if your concern is about authenticity you should have no worry. They left the market due to lack of market share, not because there was scandal or anything like that.
