Thankfully for me, I'm not interested in cards of players that never made it to the majors and most of these mythical major leaguers tend to be some of the toughest t207s to find.

Jay

My place is full of valuable, worthless junk.

Posted By: identify7
I am assembling a grouping of players who made it to the majors, but did not get an opportunity to field, pitch or hit. It makes for an interesting presentation, I think.

One guy was a rookie two consecutive years without a chance - he then quit. Another appeared in over 100 games without a fielding, pitching nor hitting oppty.

There certainly are t207s, OJs and representatives from many sets. Some are "household names - well, not really - such as Moonlight Graham, Eddie Gaedel, and others.

Enuff of that, but it is fun, and the cards are not usually in high demand.

Posted By: joe
gil,

I made a similar list last year of players — mine was guys who only appeared in one game for their entire careers and never got to bat. There were about 350 or so, as of 1988 — my Baseball Encyclopedia only went up that far. That's just field players, not pitchers. I was goingto write a book, but found out someone already did. I have the list on an Excel spreadsheet. I can e-mail it to you if you want.

joe
