This is after all placed in an auction format an cancelled early because I guess an offer that was too good to pass up instead of committing to the auction. Posted By: <b>Bill</b><p>The cards were not sold off line. They were a consignment and the consignor threw a fit because I listed them with no reserve because I felt it was not needed. Long story short, I am returning them and a few other items to the owner and I am sure they will be for sale again somewhere else soon. You might want to ask questions before jumping to conclusions. It is not always about the $$$... or I guess with you guys it mostly is....

Posted By: <b>Jason</b><p>I bid on the lot too. It is disappointing when you are looking forward to a rare peice, but as some of you whiners and moaners tend to do alot you jump to conclusions. I was frustrated too, but we didn't know exactly the true reason the cards were pulled....... point being is that as owner of the items he has every right to do with them what he pleases. If you don't like it then just don't bid. Sometimes I think adults cry and whine more than babies. Some of you need to go back on the tit. I personally don't bid on seller's auctions that tend to do this alot, but it looks like he had a lgoical explanation.

Does anyone have a check signed by Rube? I purchased four T206 autographed Marquards about three years ago. A lot of sellers who are "questioned about something" often come into the VBC and politely explain themselves. I will not be responding. But this board collects people opinions and "complaints" and there is no way someone should tell me that my complaint is petty and doesn't matter, especially since it didn't involve you personally. I think keeping him on your list of people to do business with would be a wise choice, he’s good seller IMO. <br /><br />Now if he could have just sold that damn Plank to me for $100 so my wife didn’t get to yell at me for 20mins when she say my bid price on the card (which I lost by the way). So Bill if your reading this you owe me some free cards to offset the retaliation shopping spree that my wife went on due to my involvement in that auction! <img src="http://photos.imageevent.com/piojohn3/smileys/113.gif"><br /><br />
