Posted By: fkw
I saw that Johnson card when it was first listed, is is a tough one, mainly because the seller has 2 other T206 cards listed that look authentic. Im sure if seller compared the Bridwell and the Johnson he knows if the Johnson is authentic or not. The Johnson may be a steal, but Im not taking a chance.

Posted By: davidcycleback
My opinion is that with ungraded cards, a legitimate seller should clearly state what the item is ('this IS a Walter Johnson T206,' rather than 'this might be a T206 Walter Johnson') and should have a clearly stated authenticity guarantee and return policy as part of the description. If the sales description has neither, one should probably pass on bidding, unless the item is only a few bucks.

I beleive a clearly stated authenticity guarantee and return policy helps the seller, as many bidders, including myself, specifically look at the policy to determine if and how much they will bid.
