Help with Delong card; fake? Posted By: Rob Fouch
I bought a Delong Lefty Grove off ebay recently and am not sure of its authenticity. I'm new to Delongs and took a flier on the card. Just thought it was a cool looking card. Don't know much about them, but it doesn't feel or look right to me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Help with Delong card; fake? Posted By: Ben
Yikes....thats definitely a fake. The green printing on the back is a dead giveaway, as is the card stock.

|

Help with Delong card; fake? Posted By: Brad Green

I saw that on eBay a few weeks ago. I also think it's fake. As I recall, the guy offered double-your-money back if the card was a fake. (Yeah, right!) Hopefully you paid via PayPal and can get your money back.

|

Help with Delong card; fake? Posted By: Anonymous
Thanks for the help. Now that I look at the auction info more closely, it might be a hijacked account. Seller hadn't sold anything for a while. Probably out my cash -- wasn't a huge amount or anything, fortunately. Oh well. I've had decent luck taking a chance here and there and winding up with a good card for a good price. Win some, lose some, I suppose.
|

Help with Delong card; fake? Posted By: dd
Reprint. The "reprint" notation would be found between the Copyright and Delong Co. lines on the reverse had it not been scraped off. |
