Posted By: Gilbert Maines
What is the highest graded card which you ever cracked out?
Mine was a not very costly SGC88 Blue Tint Thompson - black tint variety.

Posted By: Joann
A T207 Lively graded PSA 3. And that was because it was my first T207 and I wanted to see what it felt like and looked like w/o the plastic (and was too impatient to wait for the two raw T207's that were en route to me).

But PSA 3 is high for me. I can only think of 3 cards I've bought that were graded higher than PSA 3 or its equivalent. Most are graded lower or raw. So for me to crack out a 3 is kind of a big deal.

I crack out almost everything I buy, unless it cost a little more money and I already have another card from the set raw.

Joann

Posted By: Patrick McMenemy
I picked up a George Gibson T206 that was graded an 8 by PSA in the mid 1990s. It was part of a trade deal for a "Crack Team" cigar label that I traded to a dealer in Maine. As with any slabbed cards that I happen to acquire, I promptly liberated it.

Patrick

Posted By: anthony
A PSA 4 T206 Jake Pfeister...american beauty 350 subjects no frame...i thought i got the shaft since it looked trimmed and the bottom of the holder was not sealed all the way across....then i found out that the american beauties were thinner due to the size of the cigarette pack...i was suppose to send it to SGC but havent had time...

Posted By: steve yawitz
Probably just PSA 4's, with the most valuable one I can think of being an E92 Dockman Magee. My rule of thumb so far has to liberate cards valued less than $500 or so. At least those in my quasi-permanent collection.
