Posted By: leon
Hey guys and girls,
Please watch out for the anonymity in all posts that pertain to auction houses and/or anyone in expressing your opinions. It is against board rules and in the next little while I will be deleting a lot of posts but ONLY from folks that don't have their names and emails by their posts or that I don't KNOW WELL....That way if someone asks me who is saying something I will be able to tell them. In other words if Tbob says something and someone asks me who it is I can tell them. PLEASE don't assume I know who you are and please put your name and email by your posts. This is the same for everyone and I will protect all companies and individuals from anonymous posts as much as I can.......This helps protect everyone...The only alternative is to lock down this forum unless you are pre-approved to post through filling out a contact form ..and I really don't want to go there....thanks for your understanding.

edited spelling again...

Posted By: leon
I am very open to debate on the subject and we have done it many times. There are good reasons for letting benign type posts be anonymous. We could potentially make it where you would have to register once then you can post however you want to after that....not having to put your name out here in the public eye. It would only be known by the moderators?....unless I hear something I haven't heard before though I will be slow to change in this area at all. It takes more managing this way but also seems to be the right choice so far...however, that can always change ... regards
