Posted By: <b>Paul</b><p>I was lucky enough to pick up an N172 Bobby Mathews in a trade with another board member. Mine is an 1888. Do any of you know if he also appeared in the 1887 set? Also, are there any checklists that break Old Judges down by year? Thanks.

Posted By: <b>Joe_G.</b><p>Hello Paul, Bobby Mathews was issued three poses in 1888 with the Philadelphia Athletics. No cards would be issued before or after that date. The Athletics played in the American Association which was first fully covered by Goodwin & Co. in 1888.
