Posted By: <b>samuel</b><p>someone with the money to spend, just beginning to collect, could see this and want to buy it as soon as possible so nobody else gets it. there are plenty of people to whom $10,000 is nothing, so why not try to take advantage of it if you don't have that money. it's pretty degrading to the seller, but to a lot of people money is more important than dignity because the world we live in allows it to be.

Posted By: <b>Dan Collins</b><p>I agree 100%<br /><br />We all sell cards off here and there even as collectors.<br /><br />Beleive me when I sell something I hope to make a killing on it, but sometimes we see cards listed like this one that is just rediculous..... I think it is an insult to the whole vinatge world. <br /><br />When I sell cards I throw them out there and sell them to who is willing to pay the highest, that way the collectors can decide the price kind of like we see in the big auction houses. <br /><br />We all know the price guides are not even close to accurate. A card is worth what the market is willing to pay for it at that time.

Posted By: <b>Steve C.</b><p>I agree that the BIN price is ridiculous, but I can't criticize the seller for aiming high. After all, Broad Leaf 460s are incredibly scarce. With approximately only 40 known examples, they're even scarcer than the infamous T206 Honus Wagner. Couple that with the fact that a single vintage card collector has been buying-up every Broad Leaf 460 that has come to market recently, such cards are going to become tougher and tougher to get. Some T206 collector who desperately wants one, or that single collector who’s trying to corner the market, may be willing to pay such a ridiculous price. I know that it would take a ridiculous offer for me to part with mine!
