Also, I'm pretty sure this is an authentic card, but would appreciate a few supporting opinions. And never, ever trust a dentist. <img src="/images/happy.gif" height="14" width="14" alt="happy.gif"><br><br>(Though to be fair to Pete, I went through my entire life with only one cavity until December 1; since then I've had an abcess, root canal and bone graft and gum surgery on three quadrants of my mouth--wtf! To my incredible shock, my hatred of dentists disappeared as all of the work was nearly pain free (except that my wallet hurts))

Posted By: <b>Curt</b><p>As of now, I do not own the card but am working with a seller who has a large vintage collection from the 50s and 60s, but they have about 20-30 cards from this era, including the Cobb (which obviously is not my area of expertise). Anyway, I appreciate the help, and if I close the deal, I'll be sure to let you guys know as I've already received a few offers. Thanks

When I learned I needed the gum surgery I was so freaked out about it that I told my wife that perhaps I should just have all the damn teeth removed. I mean, who can bear the thought of having their gums cut into and the bone underneath <i>grafted</i>? She responded that she would not sleep in the same bed with me if I went to sleep at night with my teeth in a glass in the bathroom. That ended that.
