I don't think it's a golf marker because of the raised figures on both sides & the beveled edge. Golf markers are pretty flat all around so's not to throw a ball off-line if it should...

My opinion on who got Black Backs & who got Red Backs simply depended on the distributor to a given area at the time he ordered from Topps!
