from an investment standpoint, i can't imagine you'd make your money back with an '86 "high grade" set. There are SOOOO many '86s out there ungraded that if they started to bring extra money in high grade, people would start sending them in and flooding the market with 9s and 10s to drive the prices right back down.

I do think its a nice set. It was the first set I was given as a kid from my parents and started me in collecting.
