I had originally thought that was a fantasy card because it looked somewhat similar to these fake Ruth postcards (where Ruth's picture is in an oval) (
Link). However, since another poster has said that he has that postcard w/ a postmark from the 1940s, it does look like it's vintage, but just not sure who the player is. Sorry, can't add any more than that.
