I still don't understand why this PSA 4 Ruth sold for "only" 45K before BP in the just closed REA auction (
Link), and the PSA 1 in Legendary is currently at 42K before BP. Sure the PSA 4 one had staining on back, and isn't centered as well, but the PSA 1 has paper loss and other residue on the back. This PSA 4 Ruth, btw, was the same one that was available on ebay a little over a year ago for $25K BIN, and was scooped up by Tony Etrade, where it has been resold a couple of times since. BTW, the wretched SGC Authentic one that sold in Goodwin for ~9500 was my consignment, so perhaps I should be having some sellers remorse there. However, a nice looking SGC Authentic from the Oct 2012 Heritage auction sold for a little over $14K including BP (
Link), downgraded to Authentic since it was sheet cut. I still think with some patience, PSA 1 with poor eye appeal should land around $15K, and one with better eye appeal around $20K, but who knows. Maybe the boat has sailed already.
