The Boston Red Sox played an October 10, 1910 intersquad game at Centennial Field in Vermont. They divided into two teams led by Vermonters Larry Gardner (shown here receiving a silver cup) and Ray Collins. Hall of Famers Tris Speaker and Harry Hooper also played that day. Joe Wood pitched. The Gardners won 4-1. The teams:
