I think there are a lot of collectors or hopeful investors who hoard these types of cards. I won't even venture a guess as to how many 89 Upper Deck Griffey's are out there, but PSA alone has graded more than 60,000. Over 2500 are graded 10, and those have went up in price from about 200 to 350 over the last couple of years. I have seen lots on ebay with 50, 100, or more of these for sale. Raw or graded.

Those are probably the two most iconic cards from the late 80s early 90s baseball era. Personally I think they will hold their value.
