Hello all,
I am putting up for sale my Paul Thompson Type 1 1923 WS photo showing Babe Ruth center frame. To the right of the frame is Joe Dugan crossing home plate scoring on his inside the park HR in the 5th game. Famous Batboy Eddie Bennett is also shown to Babe's left walking towards the plate.
The rear shows all the proper period stamping as well as the description of the scene in Thompson's own hand. It's a very rare action scene from the first of the 27 WS series victories of Yankees.
It's 6x9in and the clarity is great. There's a small nick in the upper left corner.
