Actually did a little check in my Baseball Encyclopedia (1984 edt.  ). There is a close one:
Blondie Purcell -- In 1879 pitched for both Syracuse (22) and Cincinnati (2). BUT list only C-1 (plus OF-57). If it was C-2, we might have a winner. The other 1879 pitchers either played only for one team, or never listed as catching.

They actually went further than just catch and pitch, they said catch and pitch in the same game for two different teams. Purcell only pitched those two games for Cincy and completed both. His one catching appearance was an entire game, so he didn't even do it once. As you said, no one else caught and pitched that season, so no one fits even half the criteria
