I don't sell much on eBay, but I just started putting this in my listings. I've had a lot of fun cancelling bids and blocking bidders that don't comply. It's working:
"If you are new to eBay and/or have less than 10 feedback, you need to email me before placing your bid and let me know who you are and how you intend to pay for your purchase. Bidders who do not comply will have their bids cancelled and will be blocked from future bidding. I'm tired on non-paying bidders and this my way to try and reduce that. Sorry, but if you can't read the rules, you will be blocked. Once you've been blocked, please do not email me asking if I will unblock you. Your email will go unread just as my auction rules were. I don't think I'm asking too much."
