This came this weekend, the slab is huge, 5/8" thick and could probably be used as a weapon. I believe this to be Wags earliest image and he is still with Louisville prior to the 16 team expansion about to take place. Super clean image and a great bio on the back. I had to build a shelf in the safe so it would fit, pretty stoked to say the least. Sorry for the huge images.

Very nice! Definitely his earliest individual image, although I believe the 1898 National Copper Plate would be considered his “rookie”. Given that it’s the same image and you got it for considerably less dough, I’d say you got yourself a great item there! Yes, those BGS slabs are ridiculous, but they’re the only TPG that will grade this issue (not that it’s necessary).
For what it’s worth, there are a few team cabinets and pins that have images that pre-date his M101 image (1895 Warren and 1896 Paterson teams come to mind), but who cares? Your piece kicks arse!!! That would look great in any collection!!!
